Beside hotels luxury ski chalets are very popular renting solution for tourists.
In the summer, the most popular activities are hiking and cycling. You can explore over 400 km of walking trails, passing through villages and over mountain peaks. The paths are well maintained, but you should nevertheless exercise caution, especially at the start of the season, because there still may be snow on the paths, and it could be dangerous for an inexperienced hiker. You can check the state of the trails and the weather forecast with the Tourist Office.

For the cycling tours in the Alps, you should be very fit, because the roads mostly either head up or descend, even in the valleys. You might find the heat at this altitude pretty challenging, so bring the water with you.
