Blarney Castle is middle age fort in Blarney near the River Martin and Cork city in Ireland. The castle was built at about 1200 AD but it was completly destroyed in 1445. It is rebuilt again by the King of Munster, Cormac MacCarthy. Castle is partial ruin and at the top of lies Blarney Stone. Tourist are bending upside down over a sheer drop to kiss the stone, since believe exists that kissing the stone will give gift of eloquence. Some legends say also that stone is Lia Fail, magical stone where Irish kings are crowned.
Beautiful and amazing gardens surrounds the castle. Also there is few other attractions to see such as Druids Circle, Wishing Steps, Witchs Cave, Blarney House… To get toBlarney is very easy, with buses or cars from Cork.
