The Bahamas: Things to do in Nassau and Paradise Island

The Bahamas are located in the Atlantic Ocean, south of Cuba. They consist of over 3,000 islands, but most of them are small rocky islets, so there’s only about 700 „real“ islands there. The largest one is Andros Island, but the capital of the Bahamas, Nassau, is located on the island called New Providence, near the Paradise Island, and that’s one of the most interesting stops for those who embark the cruise ships to have their Caribbean excursions. The Bahamas, like most of the Caribbean islands, devotedly cherish their title of „tourist paradise“, so the good time is a guaranteed there .

If you’re more of an adventurer, you can go diving and snorkeling. Even those with no previous snorkeling or scuba experience could explore the reefs and coral walls, or if you are more brave than that, there’s even an adventure that will allow you to dive with the sharks!
